Week in Review


Steph: This week was good. Stressful, busy.. but good! I’ve been getting a lot more active lately and my meals have been A LOT healthier. My main struggle right now is snacking. I’m not going to drag myself down because of a few bad days.. plus I lost almost a full lb. Much better than a gain! I’ve been pushing myself more in my zumba workouts and it’s made me feel soooo good. Two weeks in a row my instructor looked right at me and went “yeahhhhhhh!!” when I was pushing myself really hard. Really motivates me to try my hardest. I love that.

Last night I read over this post. It almost made me cry. Where is that stephanie? Where did she go? How come I am so unmotivated now when I was SO motivated before? I just don’t get it. So I am going to take my own advice from this post and start to make some tiny changes in my life and will be setting some small, attainable goals.

Here they are:

  • I want to lose minimum 5 lbs this month and to do that I am going to :
    • Track all of my food BEFORE eating it... not afterwards so that I can feel guilty about going over points
    • Work out minimum 3 times per week (minimum 1 time must be Zumba)
    • Pick clean, healthy snacks over crappy foods that contain a lot of sugar and crap
    • Also next week (I am sooo busy this week and weekend) I am going to start to clean out my cupboards, freezer and fridge and get rid of most of the junk. (I do not live alone otherwise I’d toss it all)
    • I am NOT going to eat past 9pm. If I have to I will eat a 0 pt food or enjoy a tiny smoothie. (I always split them with my guy.. so I end up with a smaller serving)

5 simple steps to obtain 1 goal. I KNOW I can do this!

Jenn: This week was a much better week for me, I have been struggling the past few weeks and I feel pretty awesome about this past week. It wasn’t perfect, but it was a lot better. I am down 1.6 lbs, to do this in one week makes me pretty proud of myself.

Last night I got my hair done, and it feels and looks so awesome. I have dark red hair, and I’m totally loving the change.

Noah started walking just holding my one hand yesterday, I am super excited about that! Not much longer and he’ll be walking. He goes for his shots today and I’m really not looking forward to it, but it’s just one of those things we gotta do...

I have had some suggestions to post more about my makeup techniques, so keep posted for that.
