Don't Hold Yourself Back!



I've realized over the past few days that although I sometimes feel self conscious and unhappy with myself, that I've still made progress and I should not lose sight of that. It's easy to forget about how far you've come when you're moving backwards... but it's not very smart. When you're constantly focusing on the negative and putting yourself down it's incredibly hard to make better choices and to get back into the game.

I'm not allowing myself to have these negative thoughts anymore. I'm not allowing myself to put myself down or to feel sorry for myself. When I feel sad or negative I buck right up and say to myself "The ONLY person who is going to do this is YOU. If you want this.. FIGHT for it!" or "Smarten the F*&K up!"

Both work equally well :P.

Over the past few weeks I've managed to get myself mostly back on track and if I have a slip up.. I don't let myself fall hard or beat myself up over it. I pick myself back up and start making better and healthier choices. Over the past 1-2 weeks I've continued to make smarter choices, refrained from overeating at night, have stocked up my fridge with healthier options and have prepared food in advance to help stay on track.

If you want the good to come you have to fight for it. Fight through the cravings, fight through the negative thoughts and stand up for yourself! Good things won't arrive in a negative mind! You'll get to a certain point where eating healthy and taking the steps to stay on track will just become an everyday thing. The lifestyle change will be in effect!

What I'm trying to say is just DON'T give up. Don't quit! If you want something bad enough don't let anything stop you. If you try hard enough you can get through anything!
